The Hotel Bahía is located in the administrative and commercial part of the city of Santander, in the Plaza de Alfonso XIII, dominating the beautiful Bay and surrounded by the Pereda Gardens, the architecture of the Cathedral and the Parroquia del Cristo, the post office building, the Bank of Spain, the Plaza Porticada, the head office of the Banco Santander and the seafront promenade.
There are two public car parks, Alfonso XIII and Cachavas both with direct access just 10 metres from the hotel entrance.
There is a bus stop from where you can get to the beaches just 30 m from the hotel and the pier is just 100 m away.
How to arrive by car
From the east:
- E-70/A-8 – slip road in the direction of Santander.
- Continue along the S-10/Autovía S-10. (Follow signs for S-10/Santander).
- Go along Calle del Marqués de la Hermida.
- Go straight on towards Calle de Antonio López.
- At the roundabout take the second exit in the direction of Calle de Alfonso XIII. You will see the Hotel on the left hand side.
From the west:
- A-8 in the direction of Santander.
- Go along the N-634/E-70/Carretera del Cantábrico. (Follow signs for the N-634/Santander/E-70).
- Go along the E-70/Carretera del Cantábrico.
- Continue along the A-8.
- Take exit 230 and join the A-67/Autovía Cantabria-Meseta in the direction of Santander.
- Join the S-10/Autovía S-10 via the slip road in the direction of Santander.
- Continue along the Calle del Marqués de la Hermida.
- Go straight on towards Calle de Antonio López.
- At the roundabout take the second exit in the direction of Calle de Alfonso XIII. You will see Hotel Bahía on the left.
From the south:
- A-67 towards Palencia/Santander.
- Continue along the Autovía Cantabria-Meseta. (Follow signs for Santander/E-70/Oviedo/A-8/A-67/Bilbao).
- Take the exit for the A-8.
- Take exit 230 and join the A-67/Autovía Cantabria-Meseta in the direction of Santander.
- Join the S-10/Autovía S-10 via the slip road in the direction of Santander.
- Continue along the Calle del Marqués de la Hermida.
- Go straight on towards Calle de Antonio López.
- At the roundabout take the second exit in the direction of Calle de Alfonso XIII. You will see Hotel Bahía on the left.
From the airport, the best option is to take a taxi, and you will reach the Hotel Bahía in 10 minutes (4 km).

- Bus: There is also a bus service from the airport. It leaves every 30 minutes and will take you to the bus station (150 m. from hotel). From 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.
